Effect of montelukast sodium in the treatment of cough variant asthma in children

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical therapeutic effect of montelukast sodium in the treatment of cough variant asthma in children.Methods A retrospective analysis of 90 cases of cough variant asthma in children,were randomly divided into the observation group 45 cases and control group of 45 cases,the control method of treatment group used for oral procaterol hydrochloride and Loratadine Tablets,treatment observation group is on the basis of the control group oral montelukast treatment,application 3 months,the clinical therapeutic effect of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group the total efficiency,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Montelukast treatment of cough variant asthma in children,has obvious curative effect,less adverse reaction,good compliance and other characteristics,is worthy of clinical use.
