Abstract
【Objective】To explore the relationship between the hematoma enlargement after acute intracerebral hemorrhage and level of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol after admitted.【Methods】Data of all patients with intracerebral hemorrhage were reviewed retrospectively. The clinical records of 360 patients were reviewed with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage that underwent initial computed tomography(CT) within 6 hours and repeated CT within 24 hours of onset. All 360 patients with intracerebral hemorrhage were divided into the LDL-C≥2.49 mmol/L group and LDL-C2.49 mmol/L group and divided into the hematoma growth group and non-hematoma growth group according to hemorrhage growth diagnostic criteria. The clinical data of these 2 groups were compared and the relationships of hematoma growth and risk factors were analyzed.【Results】Age,gender, baseline blood pressure, hemorrhage volume,PT,APTT,FIB,PLT and the level of blood glucose did not differ significantly between the LDLC≥2.49 mmol/L group and LDL-C2.49 mmol/L group(P 0.05).Hematoma growth was significantly high in the LDL-C2.49 mmol/L group(P 0.01).The level of LDL-C was significantly low in the hemorrhage growth group(P 0.01).【Conclusion】If LDL-C2.49 mmol/L,the attention should be paid for occurrence of hematoma enlargement, and some effective treatment should be taken to improve prognosis of the patients.
