The Impact of Conceptual Metaphor Theory on Students' Business English Vocabulary Learning

Abstract

It explores the relationship between conceptual metaphor theory and the teaching and learning of Business English vocabulary through empirical study.The result indicates conceptual metaphor is positively correlated with BE vocabulary learning,and the introduction of conceptual metaphor into BE teaching is beneficial to students' vocabulary learning and language ability improvement.
