Abstract
Low temperature dyeing with an auxiliary-Baylan NT and conventional dyeings of wool tops have been carried out in a China mill.Fastness properties and saturation dye exhaustion of wool dyed at low temperature dyeing were compared to those of wool dyed at the boil.It can be concluded from the dyeing results:fastness of both dyeing methods are in the same level,dye exhaustion are also adequate for both dyeing methods.Research work about the low temperature dyeing with Baylan NT in foreign countries show Baylan NT is a good dyeing accelerator,the dyeing kinetics can be improved greatly with Baylan NT,dye penetration and levelling in low temperature dyeing can also be improved with Baylan NT.
