Existing Problems in Our Country's Criminal Simplfied Procedure and Improvements

The addition of criminal simplified procedure into the new Criminal Lawsuit Law is quite necessary .Its set-up conforms to the economical principle of lawsuit, producing the effect of punishing crimes promptly . However , there still exists such problems as lower applied rates, lack of operation , insufficient rights safeguard for defendants . At present , the applied areas of the simple procedure should be enlarged , the defendants' rights safeguard should be further strengthened and the circumstance of not simplified procedure should be reformed.
