Abstract

Objective To investigate perfusion imaging features of benign and malignant lesions in the liver with dynamic enhancement CT. Methods The type of the time-density curve obtained by dynamic enhancement CT in 33 cases with benign and malignant lesions in the liver was analyzed. Results Benign and malignant lesions showed different type of time-density curve on dynamic enhancement CT. The average value of blood flow (BF)of benign and malignant lesions was (408.8794±84.42) ml·min-1·ml-1 and (766.621±55.304) ml·min-1·ml-1, respectively with the average value of BF of malignant lesions higher than that of benign lesions(P=0.0375). The average value of blood volume(BV)of benign and malignant lesions was(23.4658±3.989) ml·min-1·ml-1和(56.7256±7.16) ml·min-1·ml-1, respectively with the average value of BV of malignant lesions higher than that of benign lesions(P=0.0029). Conclusions Benign and malignant lesions in the liver showed different type of time-density curve on dynamic enhancement CT, which could be applicable to differentiate between benign and malignant lesions.
