Treatment of 32 cases of early diabetic nephropathy of kidney deficiency and blood stasis by "Yi shen Xiaoke Decoction" plus auricular acupoint application

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Yishen Xiaoke Decoction plus auricular acupoint application in the treatment of early diabetic nephropathy of kidney deficiency and blood stasis. Methods One hundred and eight subjects were randomly divided into three groups: auricular acupoint application group(group A),Yishen Xiaoke Decoction plus auricular acupoint application group(group B) and benazepril puls auricular acupoint application group(group C),36 cases in each group;they were all treated for 12 weeks.The clinical symptom,24h urine microprotein,blood-fasting sugar,2h postcibal blood sugar,cholesterol,glycosylated hemoglobin and triglyceride were monitored before treatment,8 weeks and 12 weeks later.Results The total effective rates were 63.64%,90.63% and 69.70% respectively in groups A,B and C,with significant differences between group B and groups A and C(P0.05);after treatment,the scores of clinical symptoms were decreased significantly(P0.05),with no difference between the three groups(P0.05);after treatment,24h urine microprotein was obviously decreased in all groups(P0.05),and HbAlc was decreased in group B(P0.05);and no differences were found in FBG,PBG,HbAlc,TC and TG in groups A and C(P0.05).Conclusion Yishen Xiaoke Decoction plus auricular acupoint application is quite effective for early diabetic nephropathy of kidney deficiency and blood stasis by relieving the clinical symptoms and 24h urine microprotein.
