Abstract
WTO's conventions and rules regarding multilateral trade are both comprehensive and specific in their stipulations and have the effect of law. In promoting China's international tourism and conducting cooperative projects with foreign counterparts, therefore, we must familiarize ourselves with these rules and regulations to the extent and we are able to use them effectively to protect our interests and standardize our behaviors. Only in this way can we gradually open up our tourist service market, push up our internationalization process, steadily increase our shares in the international tourist market, and finally realize our goals of making China a major player in the world's tourist economy.
