Abstract

China's entry into the WTO will bring to her tourism both new opportunities and challenges. In view of this, some measures have to be taken as early ad possible. 1) Special personnel has to be trained for tourism to meet the need after the entry.2)legal environment and hand environment in tourism have to accord with the international tourist nyr-ket.3)Modem tourist enterprise system has to be built and transnational tourist enterprises have to be developed.4)Tourist products have to be diversified and serialized,and their structure has to be rationalized.5)Domestic travel has to be encouraged, and 6)The structure of source countries or regions of foreign tourists has to be optimized.
