Abstract
In this paper,High Definition Set Top Box(HD STB) is designed based on the SoC chip STi7109 of ST company.Some key technologys are introduced,and the function,structure and softwore system of this HD STB are analyzed.Then,the software architecture of the HD-STB based on embedded Linux is emphatically described.
