Abstract

The significance and perspective of research on the new generation of Set Top Box(STB) based on STi7109 platform is introduced.And the system framework and feasibility and methods of implementation of network functionality in embedded Linux architecture are also desceibed.Then,the application of VoD and Web browser based on STB networking functionality is emphatically introduced.
