Chinese Herbal Compound on Improving Clinical Complications of Lung Cancer Patients Treated with Chemotherapy

Objective:To improve the effect of Chinese herbal compound on clinical complications of patients with lung cancer,looking forward the mechanism.Methods:From December 2010 to March 2013,lung cancer patients treated with chemotherapy,were divided into a treatment group(n=61)and control group(42 cases) according to the treatment method.The treatment group was given chemotherapy at the same time of traditional Chinese medicine compound treatment;the control group was treated with chemotherapy treatment.TNF-α,IL-2,IL-4 and IL-10 levels were observed,the clinical incidence of complications was compared.Results:The serum TNF-αand IL-2 levels were increased in treatment group compared with those in the control group,levels of IL-4 and IL-10 were decreased.There was a low incidence of complications in the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion:Chinese herbal compound can enhance the serum TNF-αand IL-2 levels,lower IL-4 and IL-10 levels,regulate patients Th1/Th2 balance;improve patients due to chemotherapy concurrent symptoms,and the clinical efficacy is very good.
