Abstract
Based on the analysis of 700 articles from the Comparative Education Review published between January 2009 and September 2011 in six dimensions,the results show the following features:the research paradigms in comparative education is multifarious. The indigenous research still mainly concerns higher education and the studies of national issues are emerging. The research on teleology is mostly occupied by educational politics,school management and curriculum evolution. America and Britain are still the main concern for international research. Furthermore,research on theory and paradigm account for the largest proportion in building disciplinary system of comparative education. Finally,there are lots of studies on the theories and thoughts of Wang Chengxu.
