The New Development of British Comparative Education in Recent 10 Years

Taking the academic papers in Comparative Educationperiodicals from 2005 to 2014 years as the research object, this article analyzes these papers' research themes, research methods and the difference of research regions. In terms of research themes,Comparative Educationmainly focuses on the education borrowing and exportation,educational equity,civic education,research methods of comparative education; in terms of research methods,documentary research is the main research method,but the comprehensive application of different research methods is also commonly used; in terms of research regions,the focus on developing countries outweighs that of developed countries,more attention is paid to transnational,regional and global issues than to a single country,and also focusing on the macro comparative study between the East and West countries.
