Abstract

Calibration is the precondition of information quantification of imaging system or non-imaging system.In-lab calibration system is the most critical factor to master the basic performance of system.Based on high accuracy water bath blackbody,a calibration experiment is taken to an infrared photodetector. The experiment includes system stability, system response linearity and spectral radiance response. The calibration theory and method are described. The calibration system setup is shown. The effect factors on the calibration system are analyzed, including blackbody uncertainty, measurement error and the effect of the background temperature to the calibration result.
