Abstract

With the continuous advance of global economic integration and the reinforcement of international labor specialization,the impact of foreign trade on China's industrial structure has become more prominent.Different trade patterns have different impacts on the upgrading of industrial structure in China.General trade could promote China's industrial structure upgrading,whereas intra-product trade represented by processing trade is negative to that process.The paper analyzes different effects of two trade patterns on China's industrial structure upgrading in four aspects.It proves the conclusion through cointegration analysis and proposes some policy recommendations in the end.
