On the Literature Thoughts of Wang Tong from the Point of a "Writer-Confucianist"

This paper,from the angle of a writer-Confucianist,expounds analysis to literature thoughts of Wang Tong who is one of the most important scholars in the literati circle of his time.Although his literature thoughts contain strong trend of returning to the ancients,and the relationship of imbalance between writer and Confucianist,his thoughts about the literati in the history have an important impact on the thinking of historians in first years of the Tang Dynasty.
