Abstract
Wang Chuan Ji is one of the most important works in the study of the artistic characteristics of Wang Weis poetry with tenets. The realization of that began with the first comment on Wang Chuan Ji by Liu Chenweng in the late Song Dynasty and won Wang Wei the title of Buddhist poet. It is known to all that Wang Wei himself was well versed in doctrine, and the collection of his poetry Wang Chuan Ji had long been lacking of the awareness of its distinctive style. One reason may be the lack of timely spread of the works itself. A more direct reason is that the distinction of Wang Chuan Ji itself and the specific requirements of classical poems with four five character lines are contradictory in the Tang Dynasty. It turned out that the value of some literary works had to endure a longlasting process of cognition before it became visible.
