Abstract

There were many generals originated in west China,and more prime ministers originated in east China during the Qin and Han Dynasties.This proverb is a concise summary of the talents distribution features by history books of the Qin and the Han Dynasties.The saying indicates the important characteristics of the human geography in the Qin and Han Dynasties.The characteristics are the result of the physical geography of west and east China.At the same time,it was related to the political change and the academic development during former and later Han Dynasties period particularly.
