Abstract
This paper analyzed the types of nonpoint source pollution and its current situation. It was pointed out that nonpoint source pollution is becoming the main obstacle on the improvement of the ecological environment in this region, after the control of point pollution. And also, it was confirmed that the pollutants, mainly come from agriculture, forestry, creature cultivation, city development, traffic, living sewage of towns and countryside. Simultaneously, the status of research and control of nonpoint source pollution in this region was discussed, and some innovative measures should be taken by conjuncturing methods from hydrology and ecology , with the application of GIS and remote sense , to start a further research on the estimation of the nonpoint source pollutants and the control model. Finally, some measures for the control of no point pollution were proposed.
