Abstract
Objective To study the clinical diagnostic value for lung cancer by combining test of the serum levels of CYFRA21-1 and NSE.Methods CYFRA21-1 and NSE in serum samples of 77 patients with lung cancer,22 cases with benign lung disease and 120 healthy people were determined by electro-chemiluminescence immunoassay.Results The levels of CYFRA21-1 and NSE in lung cancer group were significantly higher than those in group with benign lung disease and healthy people(P0.01).Patients with squamous cell carcinoma of lung had highest CYFRA21-1 level,patients with small cell lung carcinoma had highest NSE level,when combining detection of the two tumormarkers were used for the diagnosis of lung canaer,sensitivity,specificity and accuracy were 68.8%,86.6 % and 80.4% respectively.Conclusion These results suggest that the serum CYFRA21-1 and NSE are of clinical importance for the diagnosis of lung cancer.Combination of CYFRA21-1 and NSE can improve the diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy,especially in providing evidence for lung cancer in the early diagnosis and improving the therapeutic effect and prognosis.
