Abstract
Solid superacid SO 2- 4/ZrO 2-TiO 2 were chosen to catalyze the synthesis of di(2-ethyl hexyl)sebacate,The optimum conditions for preparing the catalyst were as follows:molar ratio of Ti to Zr 7∶1,soaking with 0.5 mol/L sulphuric acid and baking at 550 ℃ for 3 h.The optimum conditions for using this catalyst to synthesis di(2-ethyl hexyl)sebacate were 3.5 g/mol catalyst and reaction time 4h,the molar ratio of 2-ethyl hexyl alcohol to sebacic acid was 3.0∶1.The yield of di(2-ethyl hexyl)sebacate reached 99.4 %.
