Abstract

Objective:To explore the expressions and significances of estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) in postmenopausal breast cancer with tumor grade,axillary lymph nodes metastasis and tumor TNM stage. Methods:The clinical data of 98 cases with postmenopausal breast cancer were retrospectively analysed. The expression and prognostic significance of estrogen receptor ( ER) and progesterone receptor ( PR) in postmenopausal breast cancer with tumor grade,axillary lymph nodes metastasis and tumor TNM stage were analysed. Results:Positive expression rates of ER and PR in 98 cases of breast cancers were,58.16%,66.33% respectively. The expressions of ER and PR in the different tumor grade of postmenopausal breast cancer tissue has significant difference (P0.05). The expression rates of ER and PR in axillary lymph nodes metastasis was lower than non-lymph nodes metastasis,and had significant difference (P0.05). There were no significant differences between expressions of ER and PR and TNM stage (P0.05). Conclusion:Combined detection of expression ER and PR in breast carcinoma has practical value in prognosis of the patients and therapeutic effects.
