An exploration on restraining abuse of antibiotics by using medical insurance paying system

Purpose: to restrain abuse of antibiotics by using medical insurance paying system. Method: based on the analysis on currentabuse of antibiotics and the methods commonly to restrain abuse of antibiotics as well as medical insurance paying system, the insurance companyas the insurer will work out insurance terms for using antibiotics. Result: preventive drug application will be carried out strictly by hospital towardspolicyholders, if the situation on policyholders'using antibiotics is found during the insuring period, the expense of antibiotics will be partiallyor totally reduced or relieved, and the income from the insurance will be divided by hospital and insurer. Conclusion: based on medical insurancepaying system, the total expense of antibiotics among certain population and during certain period is restrained, the method hopefully can be usedto effectively control abuse of antibiotics.
