The Influence of Medical Insurance Policy on the Antibiotics Usage in a Hospital

Objective: To provide suggestions for the medical insurance policy through investigating the influence of the adjustment of the self-paid proportion on the antibiotics usage in a hospital.Methods: The antibiotics usage befor and after the adjustment of the proportion of self-paid drugs were analyzed and freqency degree analysis methods were used.Results: Drugs in the catalogue for medical insurance,especially less self-paid drugs,are preferred to use.Conclusion:The trends of the usage of antibiotics are influenced by the medical insurance policy.
