Clinical analysis of Laparoscopic Myomectomy in 84 cases

Objective To analyze the clinical value of laparoscopic myomectomy.Methods The data from operation time,blood loss volume,anal exhaust time of 84 cases with laparoscopic myomectomy and 68 cases with abdominal myomectomy in Chengdu Central Hospital of Women and Children in Sichuan Province between June 2009 and September 2011.Results The blood loss volume in laparoscopic myometomy was significantly lower than those in abdominal myomectomy,the operation time and exhaust time after operation in laparoscopic myomectomy were significantly shorter than that in abdominal myomectomy that the difference was significant(P0.05).The total number of laparoscopic stripping fibroids was 94% of the total number detected by preoperative ultrasound,while open surgery was 100% and the difference was no statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic myomectomy is with less trauma,less bleeding,rapid postoperative recovery etc,superiority in a certain extent laparotomy,but it cannot completely replace the open surgery.
