Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of aerosol inhalation of budesonide in bronchiolitis.Methods:Sixty-one patients with bronchiolitis were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group with 30 cases and the control group with 31 cases. Both groups received same routine treatment, the control group was given Terbutaline Sulphate Solution for Nebulization, while the treatment group was given aerosol therapy with budesonide and Terbutaline Sulphate Solution for Nebulization. An analysis of the efficacy of the two groups was performed. Results:The symptom controlling time of the treatment group was shorter than the control group(P0.01),the total effective rates of the treatment group(83.3%) was higher than the control group(48.39%)(χ2=8.25,P0.01).Conclusions:Aerosol inhalation of budesonide and Terbutaline Sulphate is effective, safe and worth popularizing for the treatment of bronchiolitis in infants.
