Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between coronary artery changes and postprandial lipid. Methods 81 patients underwent selective coronary artery angiography.Based on the extent of coronary artery stenosis, patients were divided into four groups:control group, single vessel disease group, double vessel disease group and three vessels disease group. The components of lipid in four groups were observed and statistically analyzed. The levels of total cholesterol(TC),plasma triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and ApoAI were measured after overnight fasting and 4h after meal. Results the levels of fasting TC in coronary heart disease(CHD)group were significantly higher than those in control group(P 0.05).The postprandial TG,LDL-C levels were significantly higher and the postprandial HDL-C was significantly lower in CHD group than those in control group(P 0.05).The levels of postprandial TC,TG and LDL-C were increased with the severity of CHD.There was a positive correlation between all the parameters and the severity of coronary artery stenosis. The levels of postprandial HDL-C and ApoAI were decreased with the severity of CHD.There was a negative correlation between HDL-C and the severity of coronary artery stenosis.Postprandial triglyceride levels were correlated with fasting triglyceride levels. Conclusion The metabolism disorder of blood lipid is correlated with the genesis and development of CHD,which may predict the occurrence and development of coronary artery disease.
