Abstract
In this study, the polymorphisms from-119bp to +486bp of growth hormone gene in six local pig breeds(populations) were investigated by PCR-RFLP.2 alleles(A and B) and 3 genotypes(AA,AB and BB) were produced when the PCR products were digested by ApaⅠ,of which A and AA were predominant. When digested by Hin6Ⅰ,3 alleles(C2,C3 and C4) and 4 genotypes(C2C3,C2C4,C3C4 and C4C4) were produced, among which C4 and C4C4 were predominant allele or genotype. The results showed that the genotype distribution in six local breeds(populations) are significant different(P0.01).
