Expression and Significance of Cyclooxygenase-2 and P53 Proteins in Cervical Cancer

To investigated the expression and significance of COX-2 and P53 proteins in cervical cancer、cancer in situ and normal cervical.Fourty-six case with cervical cancer、twenty-four case with cancer in situ and fifteen case with normal cervical were tested for expression of COX-2 and P53 proteins by Envision immunohistochemistry,The expression of COX-2 and P53 on cervical cancer was significantly higher than those of normal cervical and cancer in situ groups(χ2=15.782,P0.01;χ2=9.051,P0.05).The expression of COX-2 and P53 were not significant difference of cervical cancer between stageI~ II、stage III and higher and moderate lower differentiation degree(P0.05),The expression of COX-2 and P53 were significant difference between cervical cancer lymphnode metastasis(P0.05).Our finding showed that COX-2 and P53 positive expression were well related with the generation、 development and prognosis of cervical cancer.
