Research on Pettifogger of Qin and Han Dynasties

Abstract

Pettifogger has been refered to for many times in the historical book of Qin and Han dynasties,such as Shiji,Hanshu and Houhanshu.However,our research today pays little attention to it.I think it is necessary to get into this problem.Pettifogger was found at first in Shiji·Xiaoxiangguoshijia:in xiaoxiang country Qin is a pettifogger,who recorded without remarkable pieces of writings.So,I want to make some basic study of pettifogger in it's first appearance period.I hope my work will take a little benefit to further research.
