Study on the Technology Corydalis Protopine Extract

Objective: The paper focused on the elements that influence the extraction of protopine from corydalis,so as to work out the best extraction process.Methods: Orthogonal experiment.The quant and purity of protopine in extract was used as an indictor.The concentration of chloroform,the ratio of chloroform and methanol and the extraction pH was observed and studied.All of the research could be scientific evidences for optimizing the extraction process of protopine from corydalis.Results: 40: 1 of the ratio of chloroform and methanol,0.333eq.of start material and pH = 9 are the best choices for extraction.The process is very simple and has good repeatable character.Conclusions: In consideration of simpleness and convenience of the process,it can be used to extract protopine from corydalis.
