The treatment of elderly knee join osteoarthritis with debridement arthroscopy and functional training

Objective To observe the effect of debridement arthroscopy and functional training to treat elderly knee join osteoarthritis.Methods Sixty-one patients with elderly degenerative osteoarthritis of knees were randomly assigned to two groups:33 patients in therapy group with debridement arthroscopy,the injection of sodium hyaluronate through knee joint puncture and functional training,28 patients in the control group with debridement arthroscopy,the injection of sodium hyaluronate through knee joint puncture only.Results 61 patients were all involved in a follow-up ranged form 3 months to 1 year.All results were measured by standardized Shahariarrer.The effective rate in the therapy group was obviously higher than in the control group (P0.05).Conclusion The effect of the treatment of elderly knee join osteoarthritis with debridement arthroscopy,the injection of sodium hyaluronate through knee joint puncture and functional training can Significantly improve the long-term effect of the elderly knee join osteoarthritis treatment.
