Abstract
Objective: To investigate the significance of low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C),high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and percentage of monocytes for diagnosis of coronary heart disease(CHD) in Uygur nationality patients and their relation with severity of coronary artery disease. Methods: According to the results of coronary angiography(CAG),101 Uygur nationality patients suspected as CHD were divided into CHD group(51 cases)and normal control group(50 cases);CHD group was further divided into acute coronary syndrome(ACS) group(19 cases)and stable angina pectoris(SAP) group(32 cases);according to coronary artery disease, the patients were divided into single-vessel coronary disease group(23 cases),double-vessel coronary disease group(15 cases) and multi-vessel coronary disease group(13 cases);according to stenosis extent of coronary artery, they were divided into mild(50%~74%) group(21 cases),moderate(75%~94%) group(16 cases) and severe(95%~100%) group(14 cases).Levels of LDL-C,hs-CRP and percentage of monocytes were measured and analyzed. Results: Compared with normal control group, levels of LDL-C [(1.836±0.864)mmol/L vs.(3.482±0.901)mmol/L],hs-CRP [(5.128±5.853)mg/L vs.(7.845±6.114)mg/L] and percentage of monocytes [(6.304±2.513)% vs.(10.102±2.861)%] significantly increased in CHD group(P0.05~0.001),and levels of above indexes in SAP group and ACS group increased in turn(P0.05~0.001);levels of LDL-C,hs-CRP and percentage of monocytes increased in turn in single-vessel coronary disease group [(2.641±0.889) mmol/L,(6.615±6.44)mg/L,(6.884±2.315)%],double-vessel coronary disease group [(3.843±0.943) mmol/L,(9.521±6.91)mg/L,(8.012±2.558)%] and multi-vessel coronary disease group [(4.169±0.961) mmol/L,(10.634±7.561)mg/L,(9.154±2.984)%],P0.05~0.001;the above indexes increased in turn in mild coronary disease group [(2.886±0.921) mmol/L,(6.574±6.541)mg/L,(6.787±2.255)%],moderate group [(3.641±0.896) mmol/L,(9.438±7.641)mg/L,(8.156±2.645)%] and severe group [(4.212±0.994) mmol/L,(10.984±8.012)mg/L,(9.354±2.991)%],P0.05~0.001.Conclusion: Levels of LDL-C,hs-CRP and percentage of monocytes in peripheral blood are related with occurrence and development of CHD in Uygur nationality patients, and they could reflect the severity of coronary artery disease.
