Abstract
Objective To observe effect of preventing relapse of interferon ointment for condyloma acuminatum(CA). Methods 83 patients with CA were divided randomly into two groups after laser therapy, treatment proup was given interferon ointment topicaly, control group was given partial injection of interferon. Results The relapse rates of two groups are not different (P 0.05). Conclusion There are same effects for prevating relapse of CA with topical interferon ointment and partial interferon injection. Futhermore, interferon ointment has advantages of less suffering, fewer side effect and being convenient.
