A Discrimination to the"Yangong"Temple in Xiadong

It is once believed that the god set in the in Xiadong,Dianbai county originally is not the Xian,but water godYan Rong-zai;The temple is built in Ming Dynasty,having nothing to do with the surnames of Feng and Xian of the Sui Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty.To this,the writer holds different opinion as follows: 1) In the in Xiadong,the words are not god's or person's names,but an ancient place name in Li nationality's language.2) The Yangong Temple is a nickname that the aborigines gives,the formal temple's name is Madam Qiaoguo's Temple.3) The place name is an incorrect Chinese language transliteration, the right transliteration should be Angong.
