An Interpretation of the Words in the Novels of the Southern Dynasty

Words of explanation in the novels of the Southern Dynasty made great achievements,but some results have further room for discussion.On the basis of the research achievements,this paper puts forward new explanations about four words.In Chinese Dictionary,scrub as one meaning of ao(澳) can not be established,and ao(澳) in two citations should be heat and add water to pot.The measurement of usage about bo(簿) is from the round dust pan,so it can not to be construed as block.Huangtou(黄头) means blond hair rather than the wrong word of huang xu(黄须).The origin of ouyanghuo(欧阳火) is because of the association between yang huo(阳火) and the family name of Ou Yang(欧阳).
