Abstract
According to the statistics in the Qing Dynasty,the Poems Written For Imperial Examinations were needed in 67 kinds of metropolitan examinations.And the emperors in body drew up the themes of those poems.Those Poems Written For Imperial Examinations originated from the literature of Jing,Shi,Zi and Ji.Their content can be separated approximately into several styles,such as affairs about emperors,appointing talented officials,moral and culture and the current affairs and scenery.Not only those contents reflected 6 generations emperors' different tastes,but also the literary fashion,ideology and culture,even the social situation at those times.Studying the Poems Written For Imperial Examinations from the angle of their themes' drawing will benefit the study into the Imperial Examinations,literature and culture of the Qing Dynasty.
