Abstract
Since the beginning of this century,the consumption level and structure between urban and rural residents in Jiaxing have been enhanced and improved obviously,but the consumption gap between them and the differences of consumer behavior are still obvious.The analysis results of the urban and rural residents consumption data in Jiaxing shows that: The consumption level between urban and rural residents still has certain disparities,but with the tendency of gradual diminishing;Both display obvious consumption preferences in the aspects like food,housing,clothing and service consumption;Somewhat different to other areas,the average consumption propensity of the rural residents is slightly higher than that of the urban residents in Jiaxing.
