The Characteristic Construction Research of Small Town: Take The Conceptual Planning of Zhouwo Town as An Example

The small town is the intermediate zone between the city and the countryside, the construction of small towns is an important form of urbanization. According as the theories of city image design, landscape ecological planning and tourism estheties, tourist psychology, tourism geography and so on, from land use planning, traffic planning, green space planning, etc., this article analysed the Zhouwo music town planning projects. In combination with the interaction of the urban developmen of Wuqiang Country and music town construction, the author analyzed the present situation and tendency of the development of cultural resources of small towns and suggested that the construction of small towns should take the function of land use, traffic organization, ecological environment into comprehensive consideration on the basis of fully utilization of the existing natural resources. Moreover, the paper presented that it will be the the only way for the development of small towns which was to create the characteristic modern town image integration of local cultural, hopeing to provide some references for the government to formulate the development of small towns in policy.
