Abstract

The effects of different root growth and pseudostem height on the transplanting survival rate of the sugarcane tissue culture plantlets were studied in this paper by using YT00-236,YT93-159 and ROC22 as the testing material. The results indicated that the root growth played a decisive role in the transplanting survival rate. There was no significant difference in the transplanting survival rate among the plantlets with different pseudostem height, and the same was to the plantlets of different varieties with the similar quality. Therefore,it should be considered as the major way for increasing the transplanting survival rate to develop the tissue culture plantlets with good root growth at the rooting stage.
