Abstract
Objective To study the advantages,the disadvantages and the long-term clinical effect of surgery on blepharoptosis by hanging frontalis muscle flap of the forehead. Methods To apply the plastic surgery of hanging frontalis muscle flap in the forehead to deal with blepharoptosis,and analyze it's clinical effects. Results The wrinkles of the forehead of all 15 patients were removed to some extent and the raising effects of the eyebrows were improved variously,except one patient who not show obvious improvement in the appearance and received another surgery. Conclusion The operation of hanging frontalis muscle flap is relatively simple.The eyes can open and close freely after the operation.The recovery is quick and the effect is good.
