Objective Purpose:In order to study the relations between hellicobacter pyiori(HP)and cancer of stomach, we should first study the relations between HP and precancerous lesions.Methods we respectively analyzed the results of HP and gastric membraneous pathologic biopsy of 5216 cases who were undergone the endoscopic examination suffered from upper gastro-intestinal distress.Results The HP was found at the average rate of 45.8%.However,the infection rates of HP of the patients with atrophic gastritis,intestinal metaplasia,as well as atypical hyperplasia were much more higher than the average rate(P0.05).The HP positive rates above-mentioned 3 kinds of cancerous lesions showed no difference.The positive rates of cancerous lesions of HP positive patients were much more higher than HP negative ones(P 0.01).Moreover,The HP positive patients with atrophic gastritis,intestinal metaplasia were younger.The degrees of cancerous lesions of the HP positive patients were not significantly different from the HP negative ones(P0.05).With the progress of cancerous lesions,the positive rate was decreased gradually.The types of intestinal metaplasia of HP posi- tive patients were not different from the negative ones(P0.05).Conclusion The HP infection was closely related with the stomach cancer.The HP infection worked on the initial stage of cancerous lesions.
