Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of liquid-based cytology(TCT) and human papillomavirus(HPV) DNA detection in the diagnosis of precancerous lesions of vterine corvix. Methods 450 women received cervical cytology screening for HPV checking, the positive patients were examined by colposcopy and histopathology, and sensitivity and accuracy of TCT,HPV and TCT + HPV were evaluated. Results In the 450 patients,78 cases were histologically confirmed to be epithelial cell lesions, including 52 high-risk HPV positive cases(66.67%),54 TCT tested positive cases(69.23%),68 TCT + HPV abnormal cases(87.18%).In the 78 cases of histologically confirmed epithelial cell changes,28 cases were atypical squamous cells(ASC),30 cases were intraepithelial lesions(LSIL) and 20 cases were high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions(HSIL).TCT + HPV could reach significantly higher sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of ASC,LSIL,HSIL than simple TCT or HPV detection, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05);and there was no statistical difference between TCT or HPV in detecting sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of ASC,LSIL,HSIL(P 0.05).Conclusion TCT combined with HPV detection in the diagnosis of precancerous lesions of vterine corvix has higher sensitivity, specificity and accuracy,it has certain clinical value.
