"Xiaoyao Zhuluan Decoction" for Premature Ovarian Failure in 30 Cases

Abstract

To observe the clinical efficacy of Xiaoyao Zhuluan in the treatment of premature ovarian failure(POF),30 cases in treatment group were treated with this Decoction and another 30 cases in control group were treated with hormone replacement therapy(HRT),for 1-2 courses with 3 months in a course.Vaginal ultrasonic examination,endocrine function and clinical symptoms were done.Results: The total effective rate was 80.0% in treatment group and 83.4% in control group,P 0.05.It is suggested that this Decoction is similar to hormone in improving ovarian functions.
