On Teacher Training Education after the Merge of Colleges

After colleges merge into universities, teacher training education takes advantage of more and better specialties offered by comprehensive universities and has developed to some extent in the aspect of scales, levels and enrollment of better students. However, there are some problems, which admit no negligence, with the building of characteristics of teacher training education, the curriculum system featuring teachers professional training and the administration system. So after the merge, we must see the importance of teacher training education in the development of the whole university, give a full play of the traditional superiority of teacher training education, strengthen the characteristics of the teachers college, deepen the reform with curriculum system and set up gradually the new training models of teacher training education.
