Abstract
Objective: To observe the curative effect of therapy of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine on unstable angina pectoris.Method: 66 cases complying with a standard of unstable angina pectoris were divided into two groups randomly.34 cases in treatment group were treated with Injectio Xiang-dan and western medicine combined with scalp acupuncture.32 ones in control group were treated only with western medicine. After 6 weeks the curative effect was evaluated.Result: In treatment group 23 cases were excellent,9 ones effective, and 2 ones ineffective. The total effective rate was 94.12%(95%CI=80.10%-99.44%).In control group 14 cases were excellent,10 ones effective, and 8 ones ineffective. The total effective rate was 75.00%(95%CI=60.00%-90.00%).There was significant difference between the groups(u=2.1210,P=0.0342).Conclusion: The effect of therapy of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine is better than that of only western medicine in control group,OR= 0.19(95%CI=0.04-0.96),and NNT=5(95%CI=2.74-55.25).
