Abstract

It was reported in this paper that the microwave-acid digestion technique was used in the ICP-OES determination of Cadmium in vegetables. We determined the analysis level by choosing optimal microwave-acid digestion condition. This method has a checking limit of 0.002 μg/L and the relative standard deviation is 1.1%.The respective recovery rate is 100%~104%.The results indicate that both the accuracy and degree of precision are high compared with dry-ashing method.
