Abstract
Objective:To develop a GC method for determining the content of borneol in Aiqikang capsule. Methods: Using methyl salicylate as inter-standard, the content of borneol was assayed on a HP-5 capillary column with a FID detector,a temperature program and high pure helium as a carrier gas with the flow rate of 1 mL·min~ -1 . Results: The linear range of borneol was 0.244~3.476 mg·mL~ -1 . The average recovery of borneol was 99.5% with RSD of 2.5%. Conclusion: This method is accurate, reliable and reproducible. It can be used for controlling the quality of Aiqikang Capsule.
