New hybrid rice combination Boyou 423 with high yield and good quality and its cultivation techniques

Boyou 423 is a new hybrid rice combination bred through a crossbreeding between restorer line Yu 423 and sterile line Bo A,and it has the characteristics of good grain quality,high and stable yield,suitable growth duration,wide adaptability,high seed production yield,etc.Through multi-location tests for many years,the general yield was 7500kg/hm~2 with the highest of 9600kg/hm~2,the average yield of seed production was 4500kg/hm~2 with the highest of 6750kg/hm~2,and it was certified and registered by Guangxi Committee for Crop Variety Registration in February,2006.
